1. Scope

This policy covers the MeowClip website, resolution APIs, download delivery, support pages, and directly related analytics and advertising. Source platforms, ad networks, and payment providers have separate privacy policies.

2. Data we process

• Public share links or share text you submit.
• Derived public metadata such as a title, public creator name, thumbnail, media URL, format, and dimensions.
• Resolution job identifiers, status, error codes, and short-lived output files.
• Operational and security logs that may include IP address, time, route, user agent, referrer, and diagnostics.
• Consent, language, and necessary state saved in cookies or local storage.
• Browsing, device, analytics, and advertising data processed by configured vendors after required consent.
• Messages, transaction identifiers, and limited payment metadata associated with support or a voluntary contribution.

3. Data we do not request

MeowClip does not request source-platform passwords, session cookies, verification codes, or private-account credentials. Do not submit them. If you do so accidentally, end active sessions, change the relevant password, and contact us.

4. Purposes and legal bases

• Provide the requested link detection, resolution, preview, and download.
• Secure, debug, and operate the service and prevent abuse.
• Remember choices and, where consent or another lawful basis applies, measure performance and show ads.
• Handle support, payments, copyright notices, and legal requests.
• Comply with law and enforce service rules.

5. Retention

Media URLs, public-page caches, and resolver jobs normally remain for about 10–30 minutes. YouTube output may remain in a temporary directory until roughly 30 minutes after completion and a subsequent cleanup cycle.

Infrastructure, security, analytics, advertising, payment, and support records follow operational needs, provider settings, and legal requirements. The operator should configure the shortest practical vendor retention before launch.

6. Sharing and international processing

We may give hosting, bandwidth, analytics, ad, payment, email, security, and legal providers the minimum data needed for their work, and may respond to valid legal process or protect users, the public, and the service. Providers may process data in other countries subject to applicable safeguards. We do not sell submitted share links.

7. Your choices and rights

You can decline non-essential scripts, clear browser storage, stop using the service, or contact [email protected] to exercise applicable access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or consent-withdrawal rights. We may verify requests to prevent unauthorized disclosure.

8. Children, security, and changes

MeowClip is not directed to children where law restricts collection from them. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service is absolutely secure. We will update the effective date when this policy changes and highlight material changes where practical.
